As the development of logistics industry is directly related to national competitiveness, the government drafted policy to build Korea’s logistics industry in order to secure logistics bases in Northeast Asia. Accordingly, logistics facilities that achieve improvements in terms of form and size are being planned. In building the single largest logistics facility in Korea, our priority was to support the smooth flow of logistics. To this end, the dock system was applied to all levels so that vehicles could access all levels. In addition, the image of the building was differentiated from other logistics centers by minimizing the exposure of the ramps. For the smooth circulation of storage and delivery, vehicle traffic lines were positioned at the inner perimeter of every level, and storage space was placed inside the traffic lines. For more efficient management and operation, the storage space in each level was planned to include an office and a lounge, and an exclusive business facility and an employee cafeteria were placed in the southern side. A large deck in front of the cafeteria was planned to provide employees with a space where they can relax in a natural environment.
