Moodeung Mountain is a symbol of Gwangju City, and residents feel it like a hometown deep in their hearts. That’s why Moodeung Mounting is a symbol and important factor of Gwangju City, rather than merely one of its tourist attractions. When designing the center as a small and medium-sized building, an emphasis was placed on how to make the small space efficient and flexible with many different functions. When accommodating various functions, the center needs to be designed in such a way that it is compact enough to change appropriately depending on the circumstances, while also being able to cope with changes and movements systematically.
