In the process of designing Mokyang Church, the concept we made careful efforts to develop was to find the ”archetype of modern Korean Church." We arranged the building in the organic relationship with nature by introducing "Chae-dividing," a Korean traditional architectural principle. We endeavored to make a church with our Korean soul by providing a simple and comfortable image in the formal aspect as well as considering economic efficiency.
