The Museum wad designed to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Ewha Woman's University on the site near the main gate of the campus. The building form of four diamonds imitates a dewy bursting bud of pear blossom. The form tries to show a new image of the iniversity which stars to build a history of another century. The building shows a vital image of living creature by being a container of the universaty's long history rather than being a simple exhibition space.
