After graduating from Hanyang University Graduate School, he grew up as an architect in Junglim Architecture and served as Design Principal and N.I.D Lab leader. It has experience in carrying out projects in various facilities and a spectrum of architectural work on various scales, and recently, it is focusing on the field of spatial branding and design.
He won the 2020 ASIA DESIGN PRIZE Gold Medal and the 2019 K-DESIGN AWARD Gold Medal. In 2019, it won the Excellence Award of the Korean Remodeling of Architects Award as CJ The Center, and the Excellence Prize of the Korean Ecological Architecture and Environment Award for Laveniche March Avenue. In 2018, it won the Excellence Prize at Korean Architectural Award for Laveniche March Avenue. In 2011, it won the Excellence Award at Korean Architectural Award and won a number of major architectural awards, including the Excellence Prize at the Korean Civil & Architectural Award in 2010.
He served as an outpatient professor at Soongsil University and Hongik University and a judge of the Gyeonggi-do Architectural Culture Award, and is currently a full member of the Korean Architects Association (Chairman of the Student Committee). In addition, he is a regular member of the Korean Society of Architecture's Public Relations Committee, the Student Committee, the Korean Society of Culture and Space Architecture, the Korean Society of Architectural Policy, and the Korean Society of Urban Facilities.
Architecture is the essence of life in which nature and humans coexist while forming relationships with each other's relationships. An organization is a group that pursues healthy architecture. Architectural philosophy centered on people and trust plays a central role in the architectural work of all members. We respect creative and free thinking within a common philosophy and try to capture various perspectives in architecture. Among them, I always think about what I can do to encourage and grow my juniors who have potential and passion, and to be creative and efficient. My hope is that there are many colleagues and seniors who have been with me for a long time in the company, and that my juniors will grow together with good experiences within a sustainable system.
